MIKIMOTO Ginza 2

Mikimoto is excited to announce the opening of its new Ginza store.  The store, designed by the famed architect Toyo Ito, has already become a Ginza landmark.  Inspired by the mysteriousness of a jewelry box and imagining bubbles around pearls and floating petals, Ito translated his vision into a work of art that all visiting Ginza must experience.

 

Ichiro Nishiwaki's interior design complements the splendor created by Ito.  The synthesis of the two is remarkable.

 

The new Mikimoto store will be home to Mikimoto International, Mikimoto Cosmetics and Mikimoto Bridal Salon, as well as some new brand introductions.  The 10-story building also features a lounge, where the best sweets by Hideo Yokota can be tasted, and an atrium, which serves as both an exhibition hall and as an area for seminars for women.  The new Mikimoto store is a must-visit for anyone coming to the Ginza area.
