As a company that sells beautiful products for women, MIKIMOTO has a long history of supporting charities that promote women's causes. 

MIKIMOTO donates 20% of proceeds from Everything is Possible With Hope to the Young Survival Coalition, the only international, non-profit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to young women. 

The lack of an effective breast cancer screening tool for women 40 and under and the need for research and support for this younger population makes YSC’s mission crucial.

2008 marks the fourth year that Mikimoto, through sales of this special jewelry collection inspired by the pink ribbon, has contributed to this worthy cause and the YSC.

Inspired by the pink ribbon, the symbol for breast cancer awareness, the collection highlight is an Akoya cultured pearl bracelet strung with pale pink silk thread. A luxurious twist on the rubber "cause" bracelet, it features a ribbon charm and Mikimoto clasp, both in 18K rose gold. Other pieces in the collection are an Akoya cultured pearl necklace strung with pink thread, an Akoya cultured pearl and pink sapphire brooch, and more.

 

MIKIMOTO also works with its retailers across the country to make their donations to a local breast cancer charity in their region.
