To enter, visit our Web site at  www.mikimotoamerica.com/theoriginal and follow the directions on the screen. One online entry per email account. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. E DT March 1 , 2010. Open to employees of Mikimoto Official Retailers who have been pre-approved for this incentive program and have the opportunity to sell Mikimoto. A random drawing under the supervision of Mikimoto America Co. (Ltd.) (“Sponsor”) will be held by March 15, 2010. One Grand prize winner will receive one strand of Akoya cultured pearls from Mikimoto (ERV: $6,000). The difference between actual retail value and estimated retail value of prize will not be awarded. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. No cash in lieu of prize and no exchange or substitution of prize, except by Sponsor for reason of unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. All federal, state, and local income taxes on prize are the responsibility of the prize winner.  The winner will be notified via an official email notification and via U.S. mail.  A potential winner has two weeks to respond back to Sponsor’s prize notification.  If a prize notification email is returned or unanswered within the allotted time (2 weeks) or if the potential winner declines the prize an alternate potential winner will be selected. Each potential winner, as a condition of receiving any prize, will be required to sign and return a W-9 (regardless of the taxable value of the prize), a Statement or Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Release of Liability within 14 days following the date of first attempted notification. The prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected if the selected winner fails to sign and return any required documents within the time specified, or is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these rules. Winner should allow 4 to 6 weeks from submission of required documentation for delivery of the prize.   Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify, or suspend this sweepstakes if, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned because of circumstances or causes which in the Sponsor’ s sole judgment, affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. By acceptance of the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name and photo for publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, mutilated, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries. All online entrants must have a valid email address. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. No automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor , its affiliates, partners, and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone communications, network, website, Internet, or ISP malfunctions, errors, or failures of any kind, or for any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes. By submitting an entry, entrant agrees to release Sponsor, its affiliates, sweepstakes promoter, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates, respective owners, and subsidiaries from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with the acceptance, possession, participation in, or use of any prize . Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor whose decision is final relating to participation in sweepstakes, selection of winner, and awarding of prize. Entrant may be contacted by Sponsor with future promotional offers using information provided by entrant to participate in this sweepstakes.  Such information is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy.
