Morganite

Glistening in pink color that embodies elegance, morganite is a beautiful gemstone that features a wide range of delicate color tones. First discovered in Madagascar in 1910, the gemstone is named after the famous American financier and gem enthusiast J.P. Morgan.
Grouped among the beryl stones along with emerald and aquamarine, morganite has until recently remained unknown. As its soft pink tones perfectly complement the luster of Akoya cultured pearls, Mikimoto creates numerous jewelry pieces by utilising this stone. With its color tone ranging from subtly nuanced peach to rarest pure pink, we select our morganite from around the globe using only the highest of standards.
